Originally built in 1767, the Art Gallery was unused for many years before becoming the subject of a total and most sympathetic restoration, thanks to support from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Now set beneath a splendidly characterful old beamed roof, you’ll find the Art Gallery in the building that houses the Granary Restaurant and here you’ll discover monthly selling exhibitions by acclaimed artists from the UK and beyond, along with items on loan to the gallery from private collections.
The exhibitions in the Rose Paterson Art Gallery are organised by Weston Park’s Collections & Engagement Department.
Simon Tew and Elizabeth Whitehouse are both award-winning artists. This is a collaboration of their work, showing the natural world of animals in their lives, alongside the life and times of people in everyday activities.
The Rose Paterson Art Gallery is open daily and free of charge to enter.

The Rose Paterson Art Gallery, since its opening in 2009, had established itself as one of the UK’s best venues for exhibitions.
Located in the Granary building at Weston Park and open seven days a week, the Gallery is available to hire on a non-exclusive basis.
The space can be hired by artists, artists groups and other exhibitors for a display of fine and decorative art.
