Our Weston
Our Weston
Behind every experience at Weston, there are a team of dedicated, hard-working, skillful individuals to make our award-winning Weston the very special place it is today. As we celebrate our milestone 40th anniversary, we’re going behind the scenes to meet some of our remarkable people who make Weston thrive.
Whilst Weston is no longer a family home, these are the real people who dedicate their time to keeping history alive every single day.

Anna Krapivina, Head Gardener
Anna joined Weston as our Head Gardener in April 2024. Since then, Anna has injected her ‘rock and roll’ style into our Formal Gardens and leads a passionate team of gardeners and volunteers who work across our Formal Gardens, Walled Garden and Capability Brown pleasure grounds.

Meet Nigel Parnaby, Head Chef
Nigel joined Weston as our Head Chef in January 2026, leaving the world of hotels behind. Over the last six months, Nigel has woven his passion for fresh, homegrown produce and deliciously good food through the kitchens at Weston.

Meet Volunteers, David Standley & Pat Lowe
Pat and David top and tail both ends of Weston Park’s volunteers: Pat as the longest ‘serving’ of all the volunteers with 34 years under her belt, and ‘newbie’ David who has been at it for just two years. However, what the pair both have in common is a passion to ensure that every visitor to the stately home and its gardens has a unique and engaging experience.

Meet Rich & Roy
Few people know Weston Park better than brothers Richard and Roy Kirby, who between them have witnessed almost five decades of transformation here at Weston. Theirs is a story about belonging, which never resonated more than it does in our 40th year.
