Originally built to mark a divorce the Knoll Tower is now a beacon for romance, seclusion and vertical living.
Once a Victorian Hunting Lodge and perched on the Knoll, the highest point in the Park, the Tower is now a luxury self-catering bolt hole affording privacy for a relaxing break away. Set over three floors, leading up to a top floor sitting room with panoramic views out over Capability Brown’s landscaped park you will enjoy all the home comforts you would expect but in a unique historic hideaway.
After a long walk around the estate relax in front of a crackling log fire with a glass of wine and in the morning wake up to amazing views.

There is no better way to explore our 1,000 acres of wonderful than on your bike! You can hire a push bike and enjoy a leisurely ride through hidden trails and wide-open parkland and even cycle to the Granary for a delicious bite to eat.
For the ultimate thrill, take things up a gear with an electric dirt bike adventure with Begin Off Road. It’s the perfect way to discover corners of the Park that few ever see – and feel the rush while you are it!
The Knoll Tower has two adult bikes and hire is £25 per stay – simply select ‘bike hire’ from the booking extras.
Begin Off Road experiences need to be booked directly them.
To help you settle in our team in the Granary will prepare your welcome hamper which will include tea, coffee, milk, a generous homemade lemon drizzle cake and a bottle of wine. You will also find a voucher for a complimentary breakfast in the Granary on one morning of your stay.
If you don’t feel like cooking the Granary Restaurant is a short walk or drive from each property and is open daily serving breakfast and lunch and dinner on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.
