Our Rhubarb Gin has been awarded a World Gin Award!

We have some exciting news for all of you gin lovers out there – our Walled Garden Rhubarb Gin has been awarded Bronze at the World Gin Awards 2026!

This award recognises excellence in gin production across the globe and places Weston’s distinctive rhubarb-infused gin among some of the industry’s standout gins this year. Produced by Sam Mosely at Wrekin Spirit, our Rhubarb Gin earned its accolade in the highly competitive England Country Flavoured Gin category.

The World Gin Awards are regarded as one of the leading competitions in the spirits industry, judging entries from countries around the world across multiple categories including Classic, Contemporary, London Dry, and Flavoured Gins. Our success demonstrates how carefully crafted, small batch gin can stand out on an international stage.

World Gin Awards, Chair of Judges, David Smith says: ‘It’s been another incredible year for the World Drinks Awards. What excites me most is the increasing quality and innovation we are seeing across categories, countries, and continents. The passion for creating and sharing quality spirits is truly alive and well.’

Our Walled Garden Rhubarb Gin is distilled at local distillery, Wrekin Spirit, just a few miles away from Weston. Our gin story began in 2023 with our first gin, Butler’s Blend, a classic London Dry gin using botanicals from across the estate. The Butler’s Blend Gin was closely followed by its Christmas edition, Winter Spice, and its summer edition, Citrus Burst. After this came our limited edition fruit infused gins, Strawberry, Rhubarb, and Damson, all made with fruit from our heritage Orchard and Walled Garden.

The Rhubarb used in this gin, and all of our other gins, is grown in our restored four-acre Capability Brown Walled Kitchen Garden, grown and handpicked by our team of gardeners and Walled Garden volunteers.
