The newest addition to the Weston Park Gin family is here – our Citrus Burst Gin!

We have teamed up again with our friends at Wrekin Spirit to distill a brand new gin that reflects the spirit of summer and Weston’s rich history.

Our Citrus Burst Gin takes its inspiration from the exotic fruits that used to be grown in the historic glasshouses that previously stood in Weston’s four acre Walled Garden. The glasshouses featured oranges, grapefruits and lemons which all feature within the flavour profile of this gin.

Martin Page, Weston Park’s Food and Beverage Manager says “The whole team here at Weston are extremely excited about the newest addition to the Weston Park Gin family.’

Martin said Wrekin Spirit’s General Manager, Sam Moseley, has played a vital role in exploring the various flavours of different zesty fruits and creating the Citrus Burst Gin.

“Sam’s experience and expertise has crafted another gin that we are all very proud of and hope our customers can enjoy throughout the summer months, giving them a taste of Weston that they can enjoy in their own back garden.’

Wrekin Spirit was founded in 2018 on the family farm in Kynnersley, on the edge of Telford, by Isabel Moseley and her son Sam.

Sam has been a regular trader at Weston’s popular food and craft events and has been working with the team in the Granary Restaurant to create a summer inspired gin that draws on the spirit of summer on the Weston Park estate.

We will be celebrating the arrival of our new Citrus Burst Gin at our Steak Night on Friday 26th April. Each guest will receive a complimentary Citrus Burst Gin cocktail upon arrival.

The Citrus Burst Gin is now available to purchase from the Granary Restaurant at £30 per bottle.
