From its stately architecture and carefully curated collections to its sweeping parkland and landscaped gardens, Weston Park is a place of exceptional beauty, rich heritage and enduring inspiration.
Gifted to the nation in 1986 by the 7th Earl of Bradford, Weston Park is now cared for by the Weston Park Foundation, an independent charitable trust established to conserve and share the estate for public benefit. For the last 40 years, the Foundation has worked tirelessly to stabilise, restore and breathe new life into Weston’s historic buildings, treasured collections and 1,000 acres of parkland – creating a place where visitors can truly enjoy Weston Park, their way, while remaining dedicated to conservation, preservation and education.
What began as a mission to safeguard a remarkable estate has become an inspiring journey of transformation. The House has been returned to a standard of décor that honours its heritage while offering a serene and elegant setting for weddings, parties and milestone events. Key elements of its important collections have been carefully restored and thoughtfully displayed.
When couples gather family and friends here to celebrate their wedding day, they become part of this living story. Surrounded by art, history and centuries of vision and care, every celebration directly supports the charitable work of the Foundation. Venue hire and event income contribute to ongoing conservation projects, educational outreach and the protection of the House, its collections and the wider estate for generations to come.
Wedding celebrations help ensure that Weston’s heritage continues to thrive. Laughter in the Dining Room, music drifting across the Top Terrace, guests gathered beneath historic ceilings that have witnessed four centuries of celebations- each wedding adds a new chapter to Weston’s remarkable story.
