OUR WORK

The work of the Weston Park Foundation

The primary purpose of the Weston Park foundation is to conserve, display and share the collection with a wide range of audiences that engage with Weston and it’s role as an educational charity.

Every penny we make keeps history alive.

Preserving the history of Weston

Weston Park was gifted to the nation in 1986 by the Earl of Bradford with support from the National Heritage Memorial Fund.  The estate is owned and maintained by the Weston Park Foundation.

The primary purpose of the Foundation is to conserve, display and share the collection with a wide range of audiences that engage with Weston and to develop it’s role as an educational charity.

The gift of your time

Have you a few hours a week to spare? Would you like to be a volunteer at Weston Park?  We currently have a large team of over 100 volunteers who play a vital role in supporting the Foundation and we are always on the look out for new volunteers to help in a variety of ways.

From helping tend to the harvest in the Walled Garden to guiding in the House, volunteering at Weston is a richly rewarding experience with a generous benefits package offered.
