Once a place for the gardeners to take a break and put their feet up, The Gardener’s Bothy has been lovingly transformed into a luxury bolthole on the estate, perfect for a weekend getaway. With its exposed brick and old country wooden floor the Bothy has some unique touches as well as delightful views across Church Pool. Enjoy breakfast outside in the sunshine, relax into the luxurious king sized bed and explore the Park and Gardens for the duration of your stay.
Entering the property through large glazed doors, the open plan living space features a hi-spec kitchen, wood burning stove, cosy sheep skin rugs and a comfy sofa. The large bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom, heated floors, his and hers sinks and soft lighting. A secret door from the garden leads into The Walled Garden with direct access to your very own entrance to The Granary Restaurant for you to explore and enjoy at your leisure.
”What a brilliant stay we had here the first weekend in January. The place is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Having the restaurant round the corner, serving good hearty, home grown food was a bonus. Having the estate to ourselves to walk round was also great, to really appreciate the surroundings and check out the other properties available! Our team in the Granary will prepare your welcome hamper which will include milk, butter, free range eggs, local artisan cheese, homemade cake, freshly baked bread, orange juice and a bottle of wine.
If you don’t feel like cooking the Granary Restaurant is a short walk or drive from each property and is open daily serving breakfast and lunch and dinner on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.
